What is inositol?
Structurally similar to glucose, 100% Inositol is a vitamin-like compound which is an important component of cell membranes and cellular signalling. It can be found in both animals and plants, or made in a laboratory.
Often referred to as vitamin B8, inositol is not actually a vitamin, but a carbocyclic sugar, which is common in high quantities in tissues. Your kidneys produce roughly 2g of inositol each day, but the highest concentration of inositol can be found in your brain, where it is involved in the function of your brain’s chemical messengers.
What is myo-inositol?
There are numerous types of inositol, with two commonly used forms being myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol (DCI). Myo-inositol is the most common form of inositol and it is found in most plants and animals.
Myo-inositol was previously considered to be a member of vitamin B complex, vitamin B8. It is no longer deemed to be an essential nutrient, as your body can produce inositol itself from glucose. A nutrient is only regarded as essential if it cannot be produced by the body and has to be sourced from elsewhere.

What are the benefits of inositol powder?
Your cells use myo-inositol, transforming it into phosphatidylinositol, which is an important part of cell membranes. It is also used by the body to influence how the hormone insulin behaves.
Which foods contain inositol?
Inositol can be found in foods such as fruits (especially oranges), grains, nuts and beans.
SUGGESTED USE: Mix 4 ½ miniscoops (1g) to your preferred amount of water, shake and consume. For best results, mix with minimum 50ml liquid. Consume once daily, before breakfast.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. This product is a food supplement and therefore should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store in a cool dry place, out of the reach of young children. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

When Will My Order Arrive?
Standard Shipping on items less than 3kg will be shipped via Royal Mail on a 48-72 hour delivery service. Items over 3kg will be sent via DPD 2 working day service.
Next working day service is shipped via DPD.
Damaged? Missing Items
We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality service and in the unfortunate situation where a parcel may been damaged in transit please contact us as soon as you receive your order. In some circumstances we do require pictures to be emailed in order to either credit or refund. If no pictures are provided then any claims will be rejected. If you can see damage to the parcel upon delivery please reject the delivery and sign the parcel as damaged.
